Opening ski lift systems for the 2019 / 2020 season
Let’s get started from the beginning: the opening/closing dates of this winter season.
As you may be aware, the Cervinia Ski Paradise area includes the towns of Breuil-Cervinia and Valtournenche; from here you can also ski across the mountains up to Switzerland and hit exciting Zermatt slopes.
Because of the vastness of the country not all the ski lifts open the same day.
The ski area of Breuil-Cervinia opens the doors (rather the runs!) to the ski lovers from 26th October 2019 to 3rd May 2020.
Afterward, Zermatt ski centers will be opened from 1st November 2019 to 3rd May 2020.
Finally in Valtournenche you can ski from 23th November 2019 to 3rd April 2020.
Cervino Ski Paradise: lift pass prices for the 2019 / 2020 season
International Skipass:
Full day ticket – low season: € 63,00 (working day: € 60,50)
Full day ticket – high season: € 67,00 (from 21/12 to 06/01 and from 01/02 to 08/03)
Italian skipass: (Breuil-Cervinia and Valtournenche):
Full day ticket – low season: € 45,50 (working day: € 43,50)
Full day ticket – high season: € 48,50 (from 21/12 to 06/01 and from 01/02 to 08/03)
You can add one day insurance at a cost of 3 euros to any kind of lift pass.

Cervino Ski Paradise: General Information

Or rather, we are giving you the numbers of the Cervino Ski Paradise resort area!
The ski lifts are 53 in total: 19 in Breuil-Cervinia Valtournenche and 34 in Zermatt.
The slopes are 150: 72 in Breuil-Cervinia Valtournenche and 78 in Zermatt.
All that just for skiing and enjoying 360 km of exciting runs.
The Cervino Ski Paradise is a very large international ski area stretching between Italy and Switzerland.
Clearly the heart of the region is the imposing Mount Cervino, reaching 4478 meters high and standing up in front of the snow-covered slopes.
The scenic view of this mount and the other mountain ranges nearby, such as the Mount Rosa peaks, follows the skiers on all the runs in the region.
The breathtaking view is in fact one more reason to choose this place as a destination for your winter holidays.
As we have said before, the Cervino Ski Paradise includes three valleys: Breuil-Cervinia and Valtournenche in Italy and Zermatt in Switzerland. These three ski valleys are linked with a dense network of different ski runs creating one of the largest countries in the Alps.
In particular the Breuil-Cervinia ski area is called “the ski capital”; here you can enjoy its trails up to six months in the year on different hard slopes (up to 10 km long).
But the real highlight of this region is another: here you have the great chance to leave and come back to the village with your skis on.
In fact you will forget about your car: here you can start skiing in the morning, just after leaving the hotel, and keep your skis on until your coming back to your room at the end of the day.
In the ski area snowboarders and freestyle enthusiasts will find their own heaven: two well equipped snow paths to perform any kind of pirouettes and acrobatics.
We have been talking about the Indian Park with its 4 hectare freestyle space!
Stretching on the 26 and 27 slopes this ski region is served by two 4-person chairlifts offering a quick return.
Besides snowboard railing, kickering and big air sports, here young children and beginners can find a special area for them together with a lot of music and fun too.
